Kansas City Zoo - This 200 acre animal park (yes, we allow humans to come and watch) also features an IMAX Theatre with its 65-foot tall screen.

Country Club Plaza - 14-square blocks of European-style entertainment and culture. A grand mix of shops and restaurants with a good dose of aesthetic fountains sprinkled here and there.

Worlds of Fun - A 175 acre fun park. Greatly heralded is the new (in 2004) Spinning Dragons, a wild, spinning roller. They haven't forgotten the younger set, however, and have an assortment of rides and attractions for them as well.
